Presentation

Frequently, the difference between a success and a failure in the modern world is merely presentation. This is especially true when it comes to marketing things like food and drink. There’s a reason why the corporate images of Big Macs have nearly no resemblance to the final product. As long as it’s presented and marketed well, it can sell. But, the power of this idea is that nearly anything can be presented in such a way that it reaches a target market.

That’s kind of the story with these images. This dish, schnitlauchsosse, is a traditional, simple German dish, of hard boiled eggs and sour cream, with LOTS of green onions, served over hot, boiled potatoes. Not fancy, and doesn’t really sound that appetizing (to me anyway). But it’s delish and a great, simple, summer meal.

The point is, if you’re in the business of producing any kind of food or drink, you need to make sure that your customers’ first impressions are VERY positive. If I can make schnittlauchsosse look good, I can make anything look good. Any food service or hospitality business in the Kitsap area (including Hansville, Kingston, Suquamish, Indianola, Poulsbo, Silverdale, Bremerton, or Port Orchard) should look into improving their imagery. It’s easy. Let’s talk
